I rebuilt my personal website, moving from WordPress to Next.js and Payload CMS while keeping the familiar design and layout. The migration was driven by a desire to work more like a developer, gain the flexibility of a headless CMS, and better control the application, deployment, and infrastructure with AWS Lightsail, Caddy, Git, and CI/CD.
